The final stage of the powder coating equipment line is the curing oven, and it is where the coating's ultimate durability is forged. A TIMS COATING curing oven is a feat of thermal engineering. Unlike basic "hot boxes," our ovens use a combination of infrared (IR) elements to quickly bring the part's surface to temperature (gelling the powder) and convection heating to provide a thorough, uniform cure. This hybrid approach is faster, more energy-efficient, and prevents the powder from blowing off the part, which can happen in a high-velocity convection-only oven. This precise control over the curing process is a critical part of our powder coating equipment system, ensuring the finish is not just beautiful, but incredibly tough and chip-resistant.
