The gas enamel furnace part of the first full-set production line for double-tank rapid-heating water heater liners, which includes automatic loading/unloading, automatic enameling, drying, and firing processes, contracted by Tianmeixin Company, was successively shipped to Qingdao Haier Smart Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. (Haier Sino-German Water Heater Factory) for installation on August 19, 20, and 21, 2022. It is expected to be put into operation three months later. The full-set production line was awarded the bid on June 20, 2022, and with the joint efforts of all staff in our company, it only took two months from bid award to shipment and installation, creating a new historical record for TIMS.

  • Waste Heat Recovery System: A newly developed system recovers heat from both the furnace’s combustion exhaust and heat dissipated from the roof. This recovered heat is redirected to dry wet enamel coatings, significantly reducing the system’s overall energy consumption while improving the ambient temperature and extending equipment lifespan.

Structural Design and Working Principle

The water heater employs two vertically 串联 (connected in series) inner tanks:

  • Upstream tank: Equipped with a water inlet pipe and a heating element.
  • Downstream tank: Equipped with a water outlet pipe, with the outlet inlet located at the top of the tank.
  • Interconnection: The two tanks are connected by a coupling pipe:
    • Inlet of the coupling pipe: Located at the bottom of the upstream tank.
    • Outlet of the coupling pipe: Located at the bottom of the downstream tank.
  • Temperature Control: A temperature sensor on the coupling pipe regulates heating elements:
    • When the water temperature in the coupling pipe drops to a preset level, the sensor stops the upstream tank’s heating element.
    • The downstream tank’s heating element then operates at high power to maintain rapid heating.

This series-connected dual-tank structure optimizes heat transfer efficiency, reduces standby energy loss, and ensures continuous hot water supply with intelligent power management.
